Innocent Eats

An installation of 12 repurposed genuine feathered white wedding favors, 14 hand-folded paper birds, 9 black mains connectors, 3 white coiled telephone handset cords, 1 artificial pear, and mono-filament wire. 8.45 square meter installation space.

This installation was inspired by a reading of Matthew 10:16, when a committee member wondered how many snakes are eaten outside this installation space without any ever knowing.

Innocent Eats is a collaborative work by the five current artists of The Committee for Art Excellence in the Office (TCAEO). This is the ninth major installation by TCAEO, and the first in this installation space.
